As we expand our geographic reach beyond our showroom locations, we will also continue to build our core Executive & Management team. The Business Development Manager will play a vital role within our marketing team and work directly with our CEO to identify, manage and own all strategic planning, external outreach and partnerships with organizations and industries that will aid in our company’s success by building our customer base and generating sales. We are looking for someone who is always driving to make the sale while continuing to build that relationship.
It’s essential that the Business Development Manager have strong existing Centers of Influence and continues to build their COI’s by networking with wedding planners, fraternities, grad school programs, hospitality providers and special event coordinators. They are also always looking for their next “lead” that could open another door for Alton Lane to provide amazing service and quality made to measure clothing. Once an opportunity is won, the Business Development Manager will continue to retain the client with a focus on deepening the relationship.
There is flexibility on where this position will be based as long as you are a commutable distance from Chicago and able to travel to see customers on a regular basis.
