Director of Customer Acquisition

As we begin to expand our geographic reach beyond our current thirteen showrooms, we continue to build a leading marketing and acquisition team to include the best talent in the industry.  We are looking for a Director of Customer Acquisition to play a key role in these efforts.  As the Director of Customer Acquisition, you will play a vital role on the management team and will work directly with the CEO and SVP of Marketing to develop strategic acquisition funnels and manage creative engagement with potential and existing customers. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop strategic marketing and acquisition initiatives aimed at increasing traffic, engagement, and conversion rates both in the Alton Lane showrooms and at altonlane.com, for both new and repeat customers
  • Develop and oversee execution of strategic online lead generation campaigns designed to maximize lead volume and conversion
  • Define, build, and interpret actionable reporting dashboards and reports using web analytics and campaign management tools
  • Interpret business objectives into actionable paid search campaigns
  • Develop, measure and analyze campaign-testing strategies to maximize campaign ROI
  • Analyze landing pages and provide well-defined strategies to improve conversion and ROI
  • Research and analyze industry changes/developments in search engine marketing
  • Design and execute campaigns using a combination of Display, SEO, SEM, OOH, Direct Mail, referral programs, re-targeting, and other customer acquisition and engagement methods
  • Collaborate with the Showroom Directors and Expansion Team to design and execute local marketing and acquisition campaigns in our growing number of cities with Alton lane showrooms
  • Develop and track success metrics of online and offline marketing
  • Help build an active and vibrant culture at our Richmond Headquarters

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top tier university
  • Minimum of 8 years of direct work experience in acquisition, paid search engine marketing or strategic acquisition efforts
  • Excellent ability to craft campaigns, measure results, track KPI and make strategic recommendations
  • In depth understanding of A/B and multivariate design and analysis of experiments
  • Experience with search marketing applications, tools, web analytics, landing page optimization and bid management systems
  • Excellent proficiency with data and analytics
  • Experience hiring, managing and developing high-performance teams against tight deadlines
  • Organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects is a must
  • Intellectual curiosity about user behavior, flows and channels
  • Strong passion for testing, data and metrics and belief in discovering insights in data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A great sense of humor
