We are actively looking for an Executive Coordinator to support our CEO. 

Colin, along with his co-founder, Peyton, started this company from scratch.  After 7 years, 13 showrooms nationwide and tens of thousands of customers, the sky is still the limit for Alton Lane.  Their business is growing very quickly and with growth comes the need for a hyper-organized individual who can take charge of their various administrative responsibilities and special projects.

As an Executive Coordinator, you are the connector between the CEO, his clients and employees. You are the “right hand” to his left. You have a laser-like focus with a sharp attention to detail.  You are prepared for the things that can fall through the cracks and always have an alternative plan in your back pocket. You are a master of organization and scheduling.  At times and when most needed, you will be 3 steps ahead of him, anticipating his needs before he asks. Building trust and having an open, honest, direct line of communication between the Executive Coordinator and their Executive is critical to the success of this business relationship.  You MUST have a sense of humor, too.  We like to have fun around here. 

We need an Executive Coordinator who is comfortable performing in a work environment that is in a constant state of change. No two days at Alton Lane are the same. While this role does require administrative support for the CEO, you will also have various project assistant responsibilities that link directly to growing the Alton Lane brand.

Responsibilities

  • Execute independent decisions within established guidelines and perform a full range of administrative services, including making appointments, scheduling meetings and invitations, and arranging logistics
  • Managing written and verbal communications on behalf of the CEO as needed
  • Providing a positive presence & seamless coverage on behalf of the CEO in his absence
  • Meeting & event planning
  • Arranging travel & managing expenses
  • Open to working a flexible schedule
  • Ability to build trust and handle matters of confidentiality with discretion
  • Collaborate and promote a team environment with all employees and key business leaders
  • Flexible to learning new skills and taking on new responsibilities when needed

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience working in a business environment
  • Demonstration of high-level organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to be detail-oriented and proofread on grammar and punctuation with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Adept to using various technologies and a demonstrating a general level of comfortability various platforms
  • Ability to multi-task independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be collaborative and promote a team environment
  • Demonstration of excellent analytical skills
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to create presentations in PowerPoint
  • BA or BS degree

  • Experience with data, analytics and reporting
